    the quilt is my 5th quilt i have ever done. just did outlining. and here is my first actual piece work. i can say that i finally quilted something. doesn't that tell you i am a newbie?

    Jeanette--Great job. If your Mom is like my sister she will love the Elvis quilt so much. My sister is such a big Elvis fan--where do find the material??????

    i got the material from walmart. i have also gotten the prequilted xmas sock from hancocks that i have finished and a pillow pattern. i just haven't dug them out for pictures yet. i also have more elvis material and still have a couple more that i want to get. the trick or treat bag is cassandras pattern.

    Oh, I can really appreciate that Elvis quilt, I saw him the first time he ever appeared on TV.....the Ed Sullivan show. Now does that date me or what??? lol lol

    You did a really nice job on that, your Mom is going to be thrilled. Bet she wants to hang it on a wall. Your grands will sure love those bags!

    my mom was born 3 days before elvis. i think that she has liked him since that time too. when he was on the ed sullivan show.

    Those are both terrific!!!! Did you get the Elvis fabric recently? My cousin is also a major Elvis fan - she even got his autograph when she was a teenager, and she still has it (and she managed to hold on to it thru' raising 8 kids!!!) LOL
