    That is lovely. I saw where you got the pattern from but is the block y seamed? I can't tell from the picture. Really really nice quilt.

    No Y seams. You make black blocks & white blocks then sew & cut them diagonally like half sq triangles. Hope this helps.

    No Y seams. You make black blocks & white blocks then sew and cut them diagonally. Like making half square triangles. I started all 5 of my Christmas quilts the first of Sept & quilted & bound them myself. They were all fairly easy patterns.

    I really like this pattern.. does it have a name? I am thinking this is pretty easy. Your colors are great.. I see where you posted that it was in the mcalls quilting may/june issue thanks.
