Christmas quilt with a couple of vintage fabrics
#11
Wow, you really turned an ugly duckling into a swan! That vintage quilt was fabulous but just too chaotic -- you really calmed it down and showcased the wonderful fabrics. Lucky friend to be gifted with such a special quilt. Can you print a pic of the original quilt on fabric to include on back with the quilt label? That would be extra special in years to come as a record of the history of the quilt. Again, great job!!!

Thanks for all t he nice comments. Some of the blocks got a little wonky when quilting, but hope the recipient won't mind.
Sorry to be misleading with the title--I should have titled it quilt gift for Christmas, instead of Christmas quilt, but couldn't change it after I submitted the thread.
That's a good idea. The quilt label is already on, but I can print the photo of the old quilt onto paper, add notes about the old quilt and tuck it into the label/pocket--I sewed a triangular label on one of the bottom corners.
I'm including a photo of the quilt with the yoyos attached.
