Yes, I'd also like to know where I can get the pattern. Is it one that can be purchased or shared? I'd love to make this Christmas quilt as a gift to myself as well.

Got these notes from Nancy's Notions. The marks should brush or wash out if not steam pressed. Good luck!

    # Chalk powder
    # Approx. 4" long with cap on (3-3/4" long without cap on)
    # Tapered point for easy markings
    # Allows accurate drawing of both straight lines and freehand curves with the fine point pen
    # Makes lines and marks more visible and easy to use with a straight edge
    # Do not use on fabrics that are not washable
    # Ironing or dry-cleaning may make the marks permanent
    # Easy replacement; simply unscrew from the pen style point

Beautiful job. Love the colors and it is so festive. Can you share the name of the pattern with us and where you purchased it? Thanks so much. Lori

I really love this too!! You did a beautiful job on this! Also wondering if you can share where we can find this pattern? I love the applique around the blocks.

The pattern for the piecing is by Ann Weber and was featured in a Spring 2009 Magazine special issue by McCalls "America loves Scrap Quilts". It was called Countryside Star. I began it originally as a fall quilt and I was thinking "apples". When the piecing was done it shouted "Christmas". SO.... I started to look for Christmas motifs that I could use. Didn't like much of what I found so I sketched my own in the size that fit the blocks and then after much anguishing I designed the holly branches and ribbons that are in the borders.
