I did receive two that aren't in the quilt. One is too juvenile and has glitzy background (the guidelines said to use a light cream). The other is too busy. I may make placemats out of them. Meanwhile they are in the "orphanage." Some of the blocks weren't up to size, so I had to fiddle with the sashing to make them fit. It's a challenge, but the result is just fine.

You’ve made a really wonderful quilt. I love the two-color sashing, and your border fabric is perfect. I’ve made quilts with blocks that various people have made, and it’s a challenge. You handled it beautifully.

You did a really good job of making a beautiful quilt out of those blocks! I really like the colors of this quilt.

You made a beautiful quilt with the ribbon Star pattern and the Christmas fabrics. You also did something, I don’t ever think I could do, put together a quilt that so many had a hand in making. I cringe when I think about sewing behind others, but you made it work. Love it! I haven’t used the ribbon Star in my Quilts of Valor but I recently thought I’d make one in the future. I have 5 vets on my personal list right now but I’m pausing to make personal quilts right now. Thanks for sharing your lovely work.

That quilt is beautiful. Your braver than I am I would be to nervous putting together a quilt where others made the blocks.🤓
