    Default Christmas quilt

One guild I belong to has a block of the month program. Everyone makes the same block to be raffled off. I won the Ribbon Star block last winter and put my winnings (except for two blocks that didn't fit) together recently. I had the quilt long armed and then I bound it. I'm not sure who I'll give it to, but I will be giving it to a friend this Christmas. It measures about 65" x 65".

Wow! I love it - and I'm usually not a great fan of seasonal quilts.

Lucky you. Those pretty blocks made a nice quilt.

Really nice quilt. I am not brave enough to join a group effort!

Pretty and festive quilt for the holidays. The alternating colors of sashing strips on each block look nice.

I’m very impressed by the sashing. If those pieces didn’t fit together exactly, you’d be able to see it from space.

This is the kind of thing I think up but don’t do nearly so well.

It really pulls all those blocks together. 🙂

    hugs,
    charlotte

Hello Friend! Congrats on winning the blocks. What a fabulous quilt! You have talented guild members.
Did you use the sashing to get all the blocks the same size?
