Im starting to get ready for Christmas and just finished this. I was pretty proud of it, then I noticed the material on the stocking was upside down, geez, oh well, I still like it. Im making some more and putting the grandkids names on the top, I put a tree on this one. Im glad it was a test to see how hard it was to make. Is anyone else getting ready for Christmas?

    What a nice Christmas stocking!
If you hadn't said anything, I would have never known that the fabric was upside down <g>
When it is full of Christmas morning goodies, no one will never know, and when you think of it:
If I were a little girl, sitting with the stocking my Grammy had made me, I would have the opening facing myself, and I would be chewing on my candy cane, looking at the snowmen and gingerbread men and seeing them JUST the way they are supposed to be for ME!
I am still trying to get through the gifts I planned to give to everyone from 1981! I have finally given up <g>.
SALUTE! To all gifters who can actually have a prepared Christmas for their families <g>

Very cute - yes always getting ready for Christmas - just completed a Christmas Lap quilt that I began right after last Christmas. Looking for some Penn State fabric for a Christmas present for my niece.

I love it, even if it is upside down. Perhaps the penguins are just gymnasts!!

The stocking is great. The bells, prairie points, the fact your are going to put names on them....I didn't even notice the fabric being upside down.
