I love that runner! I'm making the tree skirt from there too!

Ooooooh, I positively adore this! Was it very hard to make? I'm bookmarking this page so I remember to come back and try this when I'm more experienced with quilting. I really do love that pattern - and it'd be neat to try it out with different fabrics and colors and stuff.

    Very nice!!

Thanks everyone for all your lovely comments on my table runner. All those comments really makes me feel good. When I make these things, I get so insecure at picking fabrics. I wasn't sure I liked it, but after all your supportive comments, I Love it. I'll show it again next month when I have finished free motion quilting it.

What do you use for batting in your table runners? I need to make several for a bazaar and am thinking my regular batting may be too thick.

I use warm and natural batting. I think it's all cotton except for the scrimm that holds it all together. It lays nice and flat and is quite thin.
