    That's beautiful, Watson. Maybe you could find some silver that wasn't so hard to work with for the next one.

    beautiful. I too made a tree skirt for my cousin for Christmas, I used all bridal fabrics, metallics, brocades, and velvets. what a pain, but worth it.

    That’s beautiful, Watson! Your paisley quilting adds just the right touch and makes a great texture for the sparkly crystals to nestle into. I feel your pain re the stretchy fabrics so I had to laugh when you mentioned DS’s reaction! Dupioni silk would be a very beautiful substitution for the stretchy silver when you feel up to granting DS request.
