    No it was not hard. The churn dash is just a nine patch variation. There are HST in the corners, strip sections between with a solid middle. The stars are a bit more work, but not hard. 4 patches in the corners and center with those 'peaky' star points. They can be done with a tri-recs ruler (I got mine at JoAnns) or she has a PP pattern on her site.
