that tablecloth is great! looks welcoming. I made a lg dresden plate out of the farmers market and am going to stitch it down on a soft yellow backround. now what other small blocks to put in the border? hmmm

I don't see the churn dash either but i love the lay out and would like to know what the name of your pattern is. I would like to make it with my chile pepper fabrics and black fabric for my chili pepper kitchen. Your table quilt is beautiful

Meow, no pattern. It's just churn dash blocks made all the same (except with different centers). The blocks are then all placed the same direction. I think it just looks so different because people typically use sashing with churn dash blocks. The whole secondary design develops because of the lack of sashing.

You did an outstanding job! I, too, had to 'find' the churn dash blocks. Makes it so interesting! You couldn't have done any better. In answer to your comment about stuff setting funny due to the seams... I put a very thin batting in my tablecloths. It makes the seams disappear so they are not lumpy or bumpy, and adds a layer of protection so you don't need to add hot mats under hot dishes. Just be sure its a soft, thin batting so it hangs down nice around the edge. As lovely as that one is, you should make more! Think Holidays! LOL
