    Default Churn Dash Variation

This is for my sister and her husband. I always wash and dry my quilts when they are done, but this sometimes results in the quilt not looking square. See the upper left-hand corner? I thought it was square before I washed/dried it, but now it’s not. Does anyone else have this problem? Oh well, at least it’s made with love!

Ohhhh I really really like this variation, I’ve not seen it before and I love the Churn Dash block. I wouldn't worry too much about little corner, only a couple of mine have ever turned out truly square, at the end of the day the most important thing is that you enjoyed making the quilt, it’s gonna be loved by the recipient. Thanks for the inspiration, you did a wonderful job, its so pretty!

That's beautiful!!! I can tell you from experience that very few people notice a small mistake. They will just love it exactly as it is.

Cute quilt! I block my quilts after washing and almost drying. I stretch the quilt out on carpet and make sure it lies flat and square and let dry for a couple of days.

I love the variation of the Churn Dash you made! I wouldn’t worry about the corner. It’s done and made with love, for that reason alone, it’s perfect. Is it a wall hanging or what is the size? The only reason I ask is because I was seeing, what I suspect may be an end table, at the top of the picture. What size are your blocks? I like this version.
