Her old D1 is a little complicated, I still haven't figured that one out. In fact, she rarely lets me touch it.

Her new Mega-Quilter though is pretty straightforward and simple. It only does straight stitching, so about the hardest part is threading it and getting the bobbin in.

I am soooo happy for her! Her job will be so much easier. I have a juki similar to this one and I'm in love with it!

I have the designer SE (special edition) and I also have the Mega Quilter on a 12 foot Grace frame. I love them both for different reasons, and I have never had any problems with either one of them.

OH that is a beautiful baby. Have you thought of putting it on a frame?

I think Cindy will enjoy that extra space in the throat and the flat surface around it. BTW - my name is Cindy and my DH's name is Don. My Don isn't as nice as you - I mentioned a new machine last week - the dealer was offering to give me what I paid for my Janome 6600P to put toward the new machine which is called the Horizon I think. Anyway, my Don said "no". Hmph!

I have the Mega Quilter on the Next Generation frame & I love it.I also got the store model a couple years ago so saved alot. The threading of the machine & putting in the bobbin was different for me too at first but once you get used to it, it is just as easy as the simple machines. Anything different takes a few times using it but you will love it too. Congradulations!
