Default City & Guilds in Patchwork and Quilting.

    Hi Guys,

I just wanted to share my final project from my 1st year of my City & Guilds course. The brief for the assessment was to design and create a container using the methods we had learnt in the previous term. My container incorporated strip piecing, revised prairie points, free machine quilting etc. I also hand dyed all the fabrics.

The inspiration for the container came from the fields that we see every year when we go on holiday to Italy. The browns represent the earth and the blues the sky..... And of course a sunflower!

I hope you can see what I was trying to achieve.

    Thanks for looking.
