    It's so beautiful and your quilting is awesome! Raineyday is right about the sashing.....I love the Civil War era fabrics and these are perfect....esp. love the red sashing and brown border fabrics!

    What a wonderful quilt. The subdued colors work very well together making it quite charming.

    I love it's simple beauty and the fact that you were able to use scraps as they would of. Great job. Great quilt. Your hand quilting made it even more special. again GREAT JOB.
