    The small squares are 1 1/2 inches, the large 4 1/2 inches. I'll be machine quilting it.
    I thought of brown thread, too. I think it won't be as intrusive as black.

    I like this idea too. It's a very masculine feel and too much fussy stuff wouldn't fit in.
