    Not enough for another full quilt, but a good start on one. Have you thought of using them in the backing? The could be borders, sashing, etc., you can use to divide up different fabrics if you piece a scrappy backing.
    Beautiful quilt, BTW. The colors are just wonderful. That was quite a gift you received.

    Love it! I am working on a scrappy quilt right now too....It is so freeing after sticking to strict patterns for a while.

    I would use the extra 9 patches and do another simple one with plain middle blocks (like this: http://www.ttfabrics.com/patterns/do...rt-Pattern.pdf but scrappy)

    eta: even 30-35 could make a good start for an inside with borders!

    It's going to have a thin border of the off white used in the snowball blocks and a Purple border (All the corners of the snowballs are purple.)
