    Wow, you are lucky! The kids who sign up for that must be a dream to teach.
    My school is too small to support that kind of class but it's good to hear that sort of thing is being offered and taken. I envy you! :mrgreen:

    Maybe the school will pay you to make curtains for all the classroom doors.

    Crazy question but that black fabric on the lower left...the one with the swirls and the white dots...where did you get it? I love it!

    I think Joann Fabrics? That was leftover from a quilt I made for a christmas project in 2008...

    I was a first grade teacher too. We didn't have lockdown drills when I was teaching (retired '98). Perhaps they do them now. We did fire drills, drills for "bomb scares," and tornado drills. Isn't it terrible that the poor children have to be exposed to that?!! God bless our schools.
