It's small-maybe 7'x10'. But, it's cozy. I don't have a design wall, but other than that, it works. This room is right off the kitchen, so I use the table there to cut. I could move upstairs--convert a bedroom to my quilting room, but it might be lonely up there.

Oops--forgot this one--it's on top of the bookshelves--planned projects. It gets covered.

Jelly rolls? Hmm--what are they? I've never purchased one. Are they strips?? I cut all those babies. I've purchased a few fat quarters, but stick to yardage 98% of the time. The one empty rung will be filled soon--I have a few more to cut up for another floral log cabin.

Just wonderful, I'm drooling over the 'high end' thread...love it! Your space is organized! And I'm jealous that you are downstairs close to the kitchen..my other love! I'm into cooking and baking and the kitchen is the hub for me. I've converted my guest room into my sewing room/guest room. But I'm thinking of getting rid of the bed and just have my sewing room. I do have an aerobed and a sofa bed downstairs...so guests would have a place to lay their heads.
    Kind Regards,
    MaryAnna

MaryAnna--I vote to get rid of the bed!! :-D Since both kids are in college, I can leave the table full of sewing stuff whenever I need to. Hubby doesn't mind. It's handy. Plus, I can take a break to read emails--and lunch doesn't take any time away from my project.
