It was designed by Kinnette Blotzer at my local quilt shop called "Something To Crow About." The name of the quilt pattern is "Dove In The Window"
    Thank you so much!

That is a beautiful block, thanks for posting the close up. I went to the site but it doesn't look like they offer their patterns on line.

I also took the class with Joey. My Dove in the Window is almost finished, just needs boarders. Ours are as different as night and day.

    Sewsweet ~ That would work.

But the one that Kennette (at Something To Crow About) designed, she had us make ours in strip piecing., then cut on the 45*. Beats making all those triangle pieces.

Nice!!! Many times people make this pattern and the doves don't even look like birds because the fabric is too muddled up. You did this pattern design perfectly! Great job.

I have emailed Kinnette and will let you know how to purchase pattern. Her pattern is much easier to follow. It is done in strip piecing.

Thanks! I too would love to know the easier method although I am not sure I could do it even then!
