    That brings back memories. I haven't lived anywhere in years where "they" allowed clothes lines. I remember putting the underwear on a line strung btween 2 lines of sheets. Modesty,ya know!!!

    Also remember helping my mom "sprinkle" clothing before she ironed it, and she kept my dad's shirts in a bag in the refrig. until she could press and starch them ... :)
