    I have a sister who has her kitchen decorated with roosters. I'd found this cheater panel at a LQS and couldn't resist. I did separate the squares and the red and corner posts are pieced but the squares around the centers are part of the panel. I really like how it turned out with the red sashing between the squares and I tried a new binding technique where you use two colors for the binding and it's done entirely by machine (most of my UFO's are done except for the hand stitching on the binding!)
