This was for my youngest grandson's 1st birthday today!! It's flannel, and I used batting, and backed with flannel. I told my DDIL if they should lose power this Winter, Cohen will stay toasty! lol!!!! :-)
This is the 3rd of 5 birthday quilts that I need done by 9/6, so he also got an easy pattern! lol!!!
Sorry, I don't know why the quilt pictures turned out blurry!

I quilted this one too, on my new frame :)

Just had to show a couple more.... :-)
And the cake my DDIL made - they recently got a Border Collie puppy, so she made one for his cake! She used Rice Krispie treats recipe for the dog's body! I wish the picture did it justice!
I had sent her a photo of the Sewing Machine cake someone posted on here, and she said she'll think about making that for my next birthday! :D

    How cute
And a new border collie puppy--be prepared they have a lot of energy; but are so very loyal and loving. We love ours--found out it was better to have 2--keep each other out of mischief here on the farm

Thank you, Oksewglad, & Celeste!! :-)
Yes, they're finding out how rowdy the puppy can be! lol!!! But he's also very smart! He was 8 weeks when they got him, and the 1st week learned to sit and lay done!

How cute! The little guy is gonna love it this winter for sure. I like the little cowboys featured in the main blocks. It is easy to see why this block has that name with your settting. LOL! It does kinda look like a hole in the barn door! I can even see the barn door. That is so cool!
