    roseville rose--do you mean the #3 pic? Or are you talking about the gold I took out? :D

    I tried the gold on the left on the right and it's just too dark, bright...

    I like #2 it kind of harmonizes all the colors.

    Since it is going to be a log cabin, why not use all 3 and maybe another light color for your light side of the cabin?

    Melissa--I pondered going scrappy on both sides, but with only three squares, I thought it'd be too busy... so, although it's rarely what I usually do :lol: , I was going to calm it down and stick to one fabric on the light side.

    I like #3 best and keep the gold in as it blends with the rest and adds warmth.
