1st Choice for color - black
1st Choice for memories - white (brings back Gram's scrap quilts)

They are great little blocks, I so want to do that and have loads of scraps to do it but promised myself I'd finish some of my UFOs first. The black really makes them POP, the red I don't like as much because it's not as neutral and I like the muslin. If you have a place in mind where it will be used I'd do a specific color like the Red but otherwise I'd do a neutral. You have inspired me to try some. Cute cute cute.

Definitely the Black. The blocks pop so much better with it.

The black makes it look more formal and the red makes it look more scrappy and whimiscal. The white makes it look more washed outand blah. So whatever the look you want your quilt to have choose that color shashing. I love the block patterns you used what's the name of the pattern???

I'd go for the black, makes the blocks really pop.The red , to me, seems to be all I notice, not the pretty blocks.
