    Here's a picture of the top I just finished this morning. My son's GF wanted a quilt for her new apartment and she wanted it to go with a picture of a sunset that she has. Purple is her favorite color too.

    Not sure I did so good with the "colorwash" part, but I'm pretty amazed that I managed to do this. It required lots of patience, something I'm not normally good at. Just have to sandwich it and decide if I'm going to have someone else quilt it, or try this one myself...decisions, decisions! :)

    I like it. I'm not sure what the term "color wash" means but if it means to make one color sort of blur into the next I believe you did a wonderful job. Anyway, the quilt top is beautiful.

    I am just going to have to get busy & make an Irish Chain. I really like the pattern but so many other projects keep getting shoved to the top of the list!!
