Just looked at your blog - how wonderful to see the process you follow. And I was drooling over the pile of batiks you've pulled for this. I like your choices of more contrast between the lights and darks too. :-D

This looks like the start of something very beautiful...can't wait to see more.

Cutting your own templates is a fantastic idea. My husband cuts mine and it is a real money saver...more pennies for fabric.
