    I designed this quilt using an acrylic triangle template to piece the hexagons in strips rather than using the typical hand stitched method to join them together.
    I exchanged strips of civil war fabrics with friends so I had a lot of variety to work with. When it was finished I thought the hexagons looked like sparkling cut jewels. So I named the quilt
    "Pot of Jewels"

    I'm pretty sure that this picture does not do it justice! Would love to see the detail on your border and strips to see how you pieced them... It's beautiful.
