    Default Weaving the background.

    This is what it sounds like. Woven cloth. 1 inch strips of commercial cotton were passed through a bias tape shaper and starch pressed. Then slowly (over 2 weeks actually) it was constructed. Colour changes are simple. Cut and insert another colour with a drop of fabric cement to anchor the change.
    The whole piece was assembled over top a layer of stronger fusible material. As a finish, the whole piece is stitched so there are no loops to get caught.
    I almost made this into a bag.

    Yes, they are double sided: two materials fused (primarily to prevent fraying), one line of stitches over a thick backing with a little twist here and there, makes them flare. Thanks
