Looks like the whole western part of our country is burning up. This is so very sad and I only had a small portion of this type of fear and worry when I lived in CO. Fire respects nothing and no one. It is so deadly to vegetation, animals birds and humans alike.

Our whole congregation has been praying for everyone and everything involved in the forest fires. We are sending prayers of comfort and strength to you all.

It's a beautiful quilt and I'm sure some family will be happy to receive it after all the devastation in that area. The forest fires are very frightening, to say the least.

I was very close a few years ago when the really awful Tri-State fire started in Corona CA. At first I thought that the Jack in the Box was burning. I was lucky that it went around the complex since we butt against a golf course. I have been in every type of natural disaster but I fear wild fires the most. Take care and be safe.

Very nice quilt for someone so deserving. Just so sad. Hope and pray there is relief.
