Default Comfort quilt for young man with PTSD

Finally finished this comfort quilt. I would not assume to make a red, white and blue quilt for someone with PTSD, however this is what he asked for, and I verified with his family. I am very pleased with how it came out. He requested the Big Red One also.
I went controlled scrappy with the red, white and blues; made the whole thing from stash except had to buy some more of the Army fabric I used in the stars.

A lot of work and it's pretty. He will love it. I do too.

I'm sure he'll enjoy his custom designed quilt very much; you're one of the most generous quilters I know!
