    I've been working on this shawl for several months. It's for a friend/co-worker who lost her husband just before Christmas. I got the idea from a shawl pattern designed by Kari Carr that was in McCall's Quilting March/April 2011 (page 85). What I really took from it was how to attach the pockets at either end. It was a fun project and I hope it will give my friend a little comfort when she needs it!
