Your lillies are beautiful! I have about 60 or so lillies quite by mistake. They were given to me by some of my flower friends. I have 150 different iris and when my freinds see one in bloom they dont have, they stop , tie a string around the stalk , if I can share a root ,I cut it and call them then just leave the root in a bag on my door and they stop by and pick it up. Then sometime later there will always be a lilly or 2 show up on my door. But this year I up- rooted all my iris and only planted one root back. The deer have eaten all my lily bloom also.So no blooms at all this year.So seeing yours was great! :P

I love the pictures of your flowers that you call lilies. I must let you know that they are not lilies. Lilies belong to the Lillium lillium, Latin for lilies. Your flowers are daylilies, Hemerocallis Latin for Daylily. Check out the American Hemerocallis Society website at www.daylilies.org I grow daylilies and I know how beautiful they can be. But i have to educate people about them when ever I see them being called lilies, they are not. Lily flowers last for more than one day, daylily flowers last for only one day.
