I don't see why you couldn't try starching your fabric. The biasing actually helps to match seams and put the pieces together, because of that little bit of stretch. But it makes quilting harder. I got through it tho, and everyone seems happy with the quilting. I delivered this quilt tonight and his mama was thrilled with it. Soon the grad will see it and I can't wait to hear how he reacts.

I always want to start this quilt but get nervous about the bias edges. Do you think spray starch will help? I'm not a expert and realize that many of your great quilters will just smile at the thought of that, but I really want to make one and heard that if you spray starch that helps.
