I checked out the pattern and got way side-tracked.
So now you should do one in blue, so you have all three primary colors!
You did so well...I can't decide which I like better.

Both of these are great!! Quilter's Cache is a wonderful site - thanks for including the link to this block. I probably would have passed it by had you not shown these great quilts.

I, too, have bookmarked this thread. BOTH are just wonderful. I think I need to print the pattern and at least put the cut up the squares in a container to "begin" the quilt. Something like this you can always run a few pieces through the machine as you are working on other projects. Thanks SO much for the inspiration

I finished up the red one and am currently working on the blue one. I love how they are turning out. I am so trying to use up scraps which seem to just multiply. These really aren't making a dent in the scrap bags. OK...well, a small dent.

Anyone, once again, in case anyone wants the pattern, it is an "easy" one but takes a while due to the number of pieces and is located at http://www.quilterscache.com/S/SunnyLanesBlock.html.

    Enjoy.
I have a top almost done and can't see a dent in my scrap box !

Thanks so much for sharing these large quilts - you really get to see the intended effect of the pattern, and with your three quilts (!) you can see how it plays out in different palettes. GREAT JOB! By the way, this is the perfect block to make the components by the "leaders and enders" method.

So beautiful! Isn't that right about scraps...they just keep multiplying.

These are great....like how one color can change the whole effect! Makes me want to start cutting up my scraps.
