    Instead of sending flowers, I've been making a lap quilt for friends when they have a death in their family or have a serious illness. Here are a few I've made in the last couple of years. They are all very simple patterns.
    I noticed I spelled condolence wrong in the title and I can't figure out how to change it...oops.

    charity quilt for our boat club...before I completed it
