    That is really cool! I've never seen that effect before - using the black as a shadow. Very nice!

    What a great idea. Congrats on her degree. My daughter got her degree last year in CM and is working on light rail projects these days. It's amazing what CM gals can get out of their degree - and your student worker is to be congratulated on persevering in getting it done.

    Love the quilt. May I use the idea in one for my daughter?
