Continue or rip?
I started this feather boder and I am half way down the first side. I am not sure if I should rip it out and try something different or continue. What do all of you think?

Sometimes our mental images don't always match the reality for whatever reasons and we are unhappy with the result. On the one hand, you can still stop here and change your mind.
But on the other hand -- your workmanship as usual is gorgeous and it seems a shame to take that out.
If it is for you, I'd consider how much I look at the border. Sometimes the answer is not much but sometimes on a directional quilt it's just right there and I can't ignore it! If it's for someone else, as long as you don't have to force yourself to continue, I'd keep going with what you have.
