So pretty! I've never seen that pattern before. Is it a new pattern or is it one of the old patterns that got resurrected? It's lovely. Thanks for sharing.

The batting was sandwiched in between and I used a herringbone basting stitch to baste the darn thing. It worked out wonderful and I'm thrilled with how it came out. I also made pillowcases to match rather than shams.

It's not an old pattern. I have a Convergence book by Ricky Tims. The directions call for 4 different fabrics but I could only find 3 that I really liked and I was concerned it would be too busy.

Sharon Schambers is a very innovative quilter. She has lots of different ideas and is not afraid to think outside the box. You can find her at the following link: sharonschambernetwork.com

Take a look through her site. She's amazing.

This was the first project I tried with this method of basting and I'm hooked. I was amazed at how easy it was. It may have been a little time consuming but my fingers and my knees have been spared.

I've seen this pattern before and never really cared for it. I don't know if it's the colors or the bed size but I LOVE YOUR QUILT!!!!

I've never seen that pattern. It's very nice. Basting is my least favorite things to do, glad you found an easier way for you. i may have to try that. Right now I do bigger quilts in sections is I can.
