    Sylvia, this is absolutely exquisite. I also have this book and was eye-balling that particular pattern.

    Do please tell us about making it. What was hard, what obstacles did you encounter and how did you deal with them? What surprised you the most? And, most important:

    How did you get it to lay so flat and not have any "nipples" (volcanoes, outie belly buttons, etc...)???

    Wow! Beautiful. I looked up the book and the Venise Rose in it is amazing.

    your quilt is stunning, how long did it take you to make, do you have any tips for attaching the corners, that is what I found most difficult, the fabrics are beautiful, great job.....
