    I prefer option #2.

    #1 is nice but it makes me dizzy when I look at it too long. :roll: :roll: :roll:

    I like #1 - it looks more complex and I like my quilts to look like I'm a genius even if the pattern was easy!

    Yeah this one. Flip the blocks in one so the stripes match. It makes a very pretty more cohesive radiating pattern. My daughter is making a quilt that way.

    You could do the same with your Roman striped blocks. This is a quilt one of my daughter's is working on.

    What type of quilting would you use? The second layout would be a great oppotunity for some neat quilting in the large white sq. The 1st would be better for edge-to-edge. The longarmer in me coming out!!!!
