    I like #1. Option 2 looks too standard to me. I am partial to variety! I have issues (I admit it)

    Personally, I love quilts that radiate from the center. Thus, my vote goes to the first one.

    Between the two I like the second.

    I agree with trying different lag cabin layouts.

    I am sorry to say that the first one hurts my eyes! It almost makes them cross if I look at it too long. I really like the second one. of course that is just my opinion which most people dont listen to especially the hubby!!!

    It's funny, I came across the idea for #1 in a book at my LQS and really liked it!
    Layout #1 was my plan from the start; but since this is going to be a gift, maybe I should reconsider.
