    The first one is much more dynamic with lots of movement in it. The second one is nice but too predictable for my taste. As others have stated there are many possibilities for these blocks. Please let us know how it turns out :)

    I like # 1. I have seen lots of tube quilts made like # 2, but not many like the first one. Remember to post a picture when you have it completed.

    I was thinking along this line also. Try it and add that picture. Any choice you make, it is wonderful looking.
