    Very striking. I love it! The thread work is nice. I think too much quilting might take away from it. Maybe some echo quilting?

    I have never heard of thread painting but I will check it out - the blocks are awesome and I absolutely love the entire quilt. I recently bought one of these chicken patterns - I can't wait to get it done now - great job!

    Wow! Spectacular. Is that your own pattern or can you give us the pattern name you used? My Mom is a barn yard animal freak, especially chickens, roosters and cows.

    "County Fair Chickens" it's a collection of 6 patterns. Two chickens in each package. They are by Color Me Patterns, By Shirley Stevenson Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I love seeing where everyone is from.
