    Default Couple of Baby Quilts

Just a couple of baby quilts I have made lately, the first was for my little grandson Noah Peter, born last year. I had found a new batik shirt at a charity shop, so decided to add some quilting cotton and make a quilt for him "Noah's Lucky Elephants". August 17th this year was the arrival day of little Felix Giove. He was the recipient of the denim ticker tape quilt (some of the denim came from clothes of his Nonno (my husband), Giove and Rachel (his parents) and Granny (that's me). Noah got another quilt (forgot to take a pic) with owls and his name and I am working on a tortoise themed quilt for Felix (as well as a never-ending amount of other baby items....burp cloths etc.).

WOW - very creative Earthwalker! I love how you used that shirt to make an adorable quilt - thank you for showing it to us.

Great quilts. Who would look at those and think they came from a shirt?! Very creative!

Did you cut between the legs of the elephants, or did you just cut around the whole elephant? Great idea, and great work! I love it!
