    They are both wonderful but my mother would go nuts over the second one - did you have a pattern for the pelican? That is just fabulous! I have been wondering what to make for their island home and that would be just perfect - minus the lighthouse lol. They don't have those on the island. :) But the pelican is perfect - they live on Pelican Beach!

    The pattern for this quilt came from Quiltmaker starting January/February 2006 it was a 4 part series. the Pelican applique was included with the pattern.

    Both are so pretty. I really have this thing about the cups and plates, so this would have to be my favorite.
