    Jan,
    it's not regional. I just said blanket, because I had to move a crocheted blanket to put them up. But yes, technically, they are quilts.

    I usually use a low loft for these. I want them to hold the warmth without smothering the kids. For something this small, I use the width of my hand. No lines, no muss, no fuss!

    Very cute and a good idea. I made some like that for charity a couple years ago. They are fast and still keep babies or toddlers warm.

    What a great idea. I have about 4-5 baby quilts ready to be sandwiched and quilted on my "Roundtoit List", but can't seem to get motivated to finish them. Two are for a set of twins born last March, so I'm a lot late. Hopefully this will be the year to finish some of my UFO's.
