I made one on my serger to match some pillows that I made for my sofa. Like you, the plastic or that cheap thin blue cover they put on them is so unattactive. Especially when mine is on my sofa 24/7. This time of the year, I walk in my house after work and sit my stuff down, turn on my heating pad, my electric throw and my electric fireplace and then let some very impatient dogs out. I learned in serger class how to decorative stitches with it so anytime I can use it to do a whole project I do. Right now I'm doing a log cabin using fleece and its so easy and I'm so proud of it.
