Default CQA Trendex FAbric Challenge - Pure Whimsy

The problem with a challenges is you have no choice in the fabric or the theme. Everybody seems to be on the "living Green " theme this year. This was what I came up with.
At least it made hubby laugh!
You have to know this is really out of my comfort zone!

I think you did a wonderful job. The appliqué looks kind of tricky for those small pieces.

Adorable. You did well with the fabric you had to work with.

For being out of your comfort zone you sure rose to the challenge! Very cute and original use of the fabric. I love how you made the edges of the quilt the leaves in the leaves in the branch. How did you do the edge on this? Did you birth it or create a facing?
