    If heat set with a hot iron (with white, non textured paper towel or a piece of copy paper over it) crayons are permanent since the iron melts them in to bind with the cotton. Ask me how I know to use non-textured paper towels! :lol:

    Wonderful quilt and wonderful idea, thanks for sharing this!! Snuggling up with a bible quilt is perfect.
    The crayon is permanent, my kids colored on pillowcases when they were small and we ironed it with a sheet of white copy paper, they still look good today over 10 years (and many washings) later. :-D

    What a wonderful way to get children more interesting in Bible reading. They can memorize a verse for each picture for "show and tell"!
